Jacob Draiman had a lot to live up to in his life. With a rock star father and not one, but two rock star siblings, he was often asked why he didn’t want to go into “the family business”. There were often times when he questioned everything he’d decided to do with his life. With medical school looming over his head, he pondered what he should do. After a long conversation with his mother, massage guru Brie Draiman, he decided to follow his heart. He wanted to save lives. That was his dream. But, there was one dark cloud in his path- the memory of a high school friend and a motorcycle wreck. After struggling with what field of medicine he wanted to study, he finally decided. He would find a way to help this friend kill the infection that had taken away life as he knew it and forever revolutionize the field of neurology.
